In SolidWorks, Inventor and NX when you are in sketch if you choose for example line command and then press escape you will deactivate line command (or any other sketch command like circle, tangent, equal etc.). Now in Shaper when you activate a command being in sketch and you press escape then you are asked to exit sketch. Please change the behavior to what is common in cad systems.
