Salome 9.14 (Windows) Crashes When Adding Hypothesis in Mesh Module

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Salome 9.14 on Windows, and I’m encountering a recurring issue. Every time I try to add a hypothesis in the Mesh module, the software crashes and force closes without any specific error message.

Additionally, I noticed a warning in the console that says:
WRN - The configuration file has not been found, using default parameters.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows what might be causing this? Any help or workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

HI
can you share:

  • what you did exactly such that we can check if we can reproduce the rwported issue on our side and maybe share the study as HDF file.
  • version of Windows
  • directory in which you installed SALOME
  • PATH environment contents: echo %PATH% in a CMD.
  • check whether running import salome_test works. To do this, once SALOME launched, type in the Python terminal: import salome_test

Concerning the second message , it is harmless and will be fixed in next release as discussed here:

Regards.
