You released SALOME 9.13.0 for Fedora 38 which is already obsolete with Fedora 40 being the currently released version since 23/04. Nobody uses an OS which is no longer supported. Is there any chance you are going to produce a Fedora 40 build?
Hi,
Please download and try Linux universal version. It has been reported to work well in Fedora 40. Not that you have to call run_salome.sh
to use the embedded python instead of the one from the system.
Best regards,
Christophe
The problem is that I am working on developing Salome modules and I cannot use the universal version for this purpose. In order to be able to compile source files for Salome I need the native version.
Why would you release a build for an obsolete version and not the current version of Fedora? Would it be possible for me to build Salome on Fedora 40 or am I going to have to spend countless hours adjusting the compilation scripts?
