Meshing a 2D Nozzle Wedge in Salome for OpenFOAM

Hello,

I’m trying to mesh a STEP file in Salome to use it for an OpenFOAM simulation. The geometry is a nozzle or rather a 4-degree wedge of a nozzle.

I want to divide the nozzle into several regions so that I can apply different mesh settings to each part. In the depth direction, the mesh should only be one cell thick, since the simulation is meant to be 2D. However, OpenFOAM only accepts 3D meshes. So if anyone knows how to do it, it would be great.

Below, I’ve already attached the file showing my current approach, as well as the STEP file and some pictures as an example. If there are any questions, please ask.

This is a picture as an example.
