Issues with Installing Salome-9.13 with Ubuntu 24.0

I have installed Salome-9.13 Linux Universal version as I am installing it with Ubuntu-24 which is not supported as of now.
Before the start I have sourced the env_launch.sh and then tried to run salome

source env_launch.sh
salome

While starting I am getting the output

I understand that it could be a problem related to Python version. The python version I am having on my system is Python 3.9.14 which I checked using

python --version

can you try in a new terminal:

SALOME-9.13.0/run_salome.sh

and if it still fails, share output of env command line (make sure not to share some sensitive data).

Actually while trying to fix the issue. I replaced SALOME9.13 with SALOME9.12 but the issue still persists. I can not find the run_salome.sh. The folder consists following files.

The env output is too large.

Hi,
indeed run_salome.sh is shipped with SALOME-9.13.0

Then, it is quite hard to guess from your message (it would be great if you could format your messages!)
Can you do the following instead of running env_launch.sh

start a new terminal without running env_launch.sh. I assume that there is nothing in your $HOME/.bashrc which changes the PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH abd PYTHONPATH environment variables
in that terminal execute:

cd  <where you installed SALOME 9.13>
SALOME-9.13.0/run_salome.sh

I reinstalled the SALOME9.13.0
Executing
SALOME-9.13.0/run_salome.sh
gave the following output

python3: can’t open file ‘/home/shobhit-linux/Pre-post/SALOME-9.13.0/bin/salome/salomeContext.py’: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

Interesting.Can you then simply:

either edit file run_salome.sh and set to SALOME-9.13.0 location at line 4

and run the script again;

In my case, on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, using the SALOME Universal Linux distribution and executing:

~/SALOME-9.13.0$ ./salome

I got lot of errors. Fortunately, when I execute:

~/SALOME-9.13.0$ ./run_salome.sh

it works well .
