Import STEP file into Salome

I’ve noticed small accuracy issues when importing STEP files into SALOME—for example, a 1000 mm dimension imports as about 999.9999 mm. I have tried reducing the B-spline tolerance during export from NX, but it didn’t improve the accuracy.

Will SALOME consider adding support for direct Parasolid (.x_t) import? This could help keep better accuracy.

Also, any advice on how to reduce accuracy loss when importing STEP files would be appreciated.

I don’t use nx, but by chance can you export in brep? I have seen in several versions of samole going back and forward with issues in the step importing/exporting that disappear and re appear in other versions.
