How to hide some element in smesh?

i want to select some inner face or some volume element in smesh. creat group and to assign BC or other operator.

You can select the entities to show (node, edge, face, volume) in the context menu : select the mesh in the view, right click > Display entity.

You can also use the clipping plan, same context menu “clipping”, and define a plan that allow to access the elements you want. then when creating the group select “Enable manual edition”. and move the clipping plan as needed.

The usual advice is to define geometry groups first because it is much easier, then when you create the mesh, mesh groups will be created automatically from geometry groups.
