Graphic window close automatically Salome 9.14 on Ubuntu 24

Hello all,

I have installed Salome 9.14 on my computer ubuntu 24, by downloading the tar.gz and installing all the required dependencies.

Everything works well when I run my script to generate meshes.

However I have a problem with the graphic window. The window close automatically.
For example if I choose “MESH”, I get the window in attachment.

If I choose other modules, the window closes automatically.

hello,

most probably you are in wayland and the ubuntu version, it is know that this happens, if you need to stay using wayland, you can use the universal linux version that will work.
