Has anyone had it happen that when exporting geometry to VTK, edges are displayed as arrows?

hello,
this is normal, when you export the geometry the edge directions are also exported (each edge has a direction, for some application it is important dis direction). you can also see them by in geometry/OCCT scene, if you select your geometry and right click displaymode/show edge direction, you will see the same arrows. I dont use the export VTK, but from the looks of it, it is discretizing the surface and keeping the edges with their direction, for geting the geometry discretized without the edges direction you can export the geometry in .stl format.
eg. a cube created in geometry exported in vtk and stl in paraview
