Hi ! I exported a surface mesh from SALOME as a CGNS file. I want to extrude it with pyhyp but the file is not recognised as a cgns file. Even the CGNS tools didn’t recognize it. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem ?
Hello, I don’t know the details of cgns format, but what I would try is:
- Create a cube, mesh it and export it and test with that.
If that works it might be an issue with having groups or other things. For example I faced something similar with unv format where if it has 1d groups in Salome when exporting it, it breaks the importing. Might be something like that, maybe?
