Salome 9.9 Linux Universal crashes on AlmaLinux 9 when selecting ParaViS, As AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux replace CentOS as stable RHEL clones, it should be included in tests.
You presumably need to use either the mesa_salome launcher or as described in the README file, uncomment one line in the launcher.
Note that SALOME supports also Rocky 8
