Is there any plugins or features that can convert text to solids? For example, I want to extrude the word “SALOME”.
hint: If it is not possible, one can do that other platforms and export as step files, then import salome as body.

I am a user and not a developer. According to my observation, the purpose of SALOME is the creation of objects for FEM calculations. Technical drawings are not the task of SALOME.
If I understand the question as: “Is it possible to import objects from other CAD software” then the answer is YES.
Look at the import options. *.step is not included.
I have attached an example with *.brep.
